Letras de faixas bônus do cd The Village Lanterne
In some countries the cd The Village Lanterne was edited with bonus tracks and the lyrics of these tracks normally do not consist in book of the cd. Other tracks of co-authorship of other artists or rerecordings also do not come with its respective lyrics in books. Therefore we publish here the lyrics of 3 musics that do not consist nor in the official site of the Blackmore´s Night and that they are part of the last cd. They are "Street Of Dream" and “Streets of London” that consists of the normal track list of the cd and “Call It Love” that comes as bonus tracks for Brazil.
Call it Love
Composição: Candice Night
I'm standing here
Watching the waves break on the sand,
Holding your hand, and wondering if there was a time'
When I felt more comfortable.
I could conquer the world with you by my side.
We've gone down so many lonely roads,
Searched for what we know was right around the corner.
And I knew from the time I saw your face,
From our first embrace,
That you were the one.
We could call it luck,
We could call it fate,
We could call it heart's desire,
We could call it a dream even though we're wide awake-
Let's just call it love.
I feel like
I've known you my whole life.
Every day and night was made just for us.
I don't know what I ever did before
You walked through my door and changed my whole life.
We could call it luck,
We could call it fate,
We could call it heart's desire,
We could call it a dream even though we're wide awake-
Let's just call it love.
Let's Just call it love, I'd like to call it love
Let's Just call it love, I'd like to call it love
Streets of London
Composição: Ralph McTell
Have you seen the old man
In the closed-down market
Kicking up the paper,
With his worn out shoes?
In his eyes you see no pride
And held loosely at his side
Yesterday's paper telling yesterday's news
So how can you tell me you're lonely,
And say for you that the sun don't shine?
Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of
I'll show you something to make you change your mind
Have you seen the old girl
Who walks the streets of
Dirt in her hair and her clothes in rags?
She's no time for talking,
She just keeps right on walking
Carrying her home in two carrier bags.
Chorus
In the all night cafe
At a quarter past eleven,
Same old man is sitting there on his own
Looking at the world
Over the rim of his tea-cup,
Each tea last an hour
Then he wanders home alone
Chorus
And have you seen the old man
Outside the seaman's mission
Memory fading with
The medal ribbons that he wears.
In our winter city,
The rain cries a little pity
For one more forgotten hero
And a world that doesn't care
Chorus
Street of Dreams
Composição: Ritchie Blackmore/Joe Lynn Turner
I heard the sound of voices in the night
Spellbound there was someone calling
I looked around no one was in sight
Pulled down I just kept on falling
Ive seen this place before
You were standing by my side
Ive seen your face before tonight
Maybe I just see what I want it to be
I know its a mystery
Do you remember me on a street of dreams
Running through my memory
On the street of dreams
There you stood a distant memory
So good like we never parted
Said to myself I knew youd set me free
And here we are right back where we started
Soemthings come over me
And I dont know what to feel
Maybe this fantasy is real
Now I know I see what I want it to be
But its still a mystery
Do you remember me on the street of dreams
Running through my memory
On the street of dreams
You are on every face I see
On the street of dreams
Solo
Tell me have you always been
On the street of dreams
Will we ever meet again my friend
Do you know just what it meand to be
On the street of dreams
Never know just who youll see do ya
On the street of dreams
You can be who you want to be oh yeah
I can hear you calling me
I can feel you haunting me
Haunting me
